Interesting Story

by Inthefastlane45 @ 24/05/2007 - 01.54:51

This is pretty random, but I think its pretty interesting.

When my mother was pregnant with me she had a dream. In the dream I was already born(not a newborn, but not that old) and was in our back yard playing in a pile of mud. I was sitting on the mud on my knees.

So in the dream she comes up and tells me to get out of the mud because i'm causing a mess, ect ect. So I get out of the mud and there is mud on my knees. So she brushes it off, but it won't come off. No matter how much she tries to brush it off, it won't come off my knees. In the dream I also had blond hair.

Now I was born with blond hair, and it completely blond until about 6. Then after that it would be blond in the summer, brown in the winter. Then eventually it became completely brown.

Anyway, the most interesting part is that I have a 'birth mark' on my knees. Exactly where the mud was at in my mothers dream. It's a brown mark(maybe a square inch roughly) not any exact shape. And it hasen't gone away.

I've head a lot of mothers have dreams like these.

Pipe bomb

by Inthefastlane45 @ 23/05/2007 - 16.10:50

Some kid in a local high school made a fake pipe bomb(using a pipe, black tape, and a door bell?). Closed and evacuated the school.

If I had a dollar for each time one of these things happens..

Get this bible belt off.

by Inthefastlane45 @ 23/05/2007 - 00.10:55

Alright, that title was a pathetic joke, sorry.(hopefully you know what the bible belt is, then it might make more sense)

Anyway, the other day I was reading a argument/debate on another blogging site, and seen a person refer to atheism as it's own religion. When in reality it is when somebody doesn't believe in god or religion. Yes, you could say it is a belief, but it is not in any way similiar to a organized religion like christianity.

Many christians(of course there are exceptions) here tend to compare the bible to our governemnt and keep relating them, and saying how government should(or already does) go along with the bible.

Last time I checked, we are secular! Separation of church and state. Yet for some reason people think the bible was written directly for the government. The government should not be making laws based on one religion in a secular country.

I have no problem with people having their religion, any religion is fine by me. But it should be something you practice yourself. Not yelling at others to do the same, or saying other beliefs are ignorant.

Dis entry iza rant becuz i feel lyke itz.

by Inthefastlane45 @ 19/05/2007 - 02.16:01

When I was 12 I used to type using u-r-2-kool ect, ect-In my defense, I did pick it up from other people! I probably stopped around 14(I actually don't know why). But now whenever I see somebody on the internet write like that(I seen somebody write "becuz" today which made me very angry, thats how I got it for my title) I hate it.

I'm not a grammar instuctor about this stuff..I forgot to capitalize a few I's(which I was very sure I didn't forget any in this entry), and sometimes forget periods, commas, ect..or make spelling mistakes, but at least people can understand the words I am typing!

Nobody should type like that. Reversing spelling skills, ugh.

-when I seen the person who wrote 'becuz' on yahoo answers..he was talking about wal-mart...ironic(I know, that was a bit judgmental).

Heritage

by Inthefastlane45 @ 17/05/2007 - 01.40:05

I've become very interested in my own heritage in the last year or so. It's interesting to know where you actually come from.

My moms side is much better at tracking down family heritage than my dads, but as of today..I believe I am the fallowing:

Irish, German, French(100% sure), Native american(pretty rare)-cherokee, and austrian or hungarian.

My grandparents(dad side) always said my last name is hungarian, but I recently found my great grandfather on an ancestry website, and says he is born in austria. But that was a long time ago, and I think austria-hungary was still considered one empire at the time..so who knows which one I really am...we are going to ask my grandfather though, hopefully he knows(he didn't get along with his dad).

Anyway, what heritage are you?

Sick

by Inthefastlane45 @ 14/05/2007 - 19.48:16

Well I first thought I had my allergies, they usually start up this time of the year, but for only two weeks.

But it turns our I'm sick. Which basically sucks..I haven't been sick for a long time.

Oh well..hopefully it won't last that long.

Freedom Writers

by Inthefastlane45 @ 14/05/2007 - 01.52:58

Just got done watching the movie "Freedom Writers", very good movie I thought. Which is saying a lot becuase I hardly ever watch movies...and I really wanted to see this one.

Hard to believe it's bassed on the true story..you hardly ever hear of that kind of stuff really happening.

Mountain Picture

Mountains

We don't have the big dramatic mountains here like the Rocky Mountains, but they're still pretty nice to look at

Nice days

by Inthefastlane45 @ 11/05/2007 - 13.59:12

Sky

It's been a beautiful last couple of days.

feels like summer

by Inthefastlane45 @ 10/05/2007 - 08.15:40

It's 8:10am here..so I guess you would say i'm up pretty early, but really..i'm up very late since I didn't get any sleep yet.

Yesterday was hottest day so far this year..80(F). Which really isen't too bad. But once it gets at that temperature, the nights are warm and it gets very hot in my bedroom. I had two fans running and still couldn't get it cool enough to be comfortable. We have central air..but it hasen't kicked in yet.

On a very different note, this week was a busy one. My cousin was killed in a car accident last week, and they had viewings and the funeral this week(sunday-tuesday). I really didn't talk to him, so I just went to the one viewing.

People always say that when they see a dead body they half expect it to just jump up, or open its eyes or something..and they are completely right. I kept thinking in my head that it was going to be like some horror movie and he would come back to life somehow.

You know its giong to be bad when..

by Inthefastlane45 @ 09/05/2007 - 02.29:51

Yeah, my third post in 24 hours.

Anyway, this post is about a little thing people tend to say.

So your talking to a person..friend or just someone you know.

And then, they say.."no offense, but..."

Then you know your going to get insulted, or criticized in some sort of way. And then they don't expect you to get mad by it becuase "I didn't mean to offend you!"

Ugh, keep rude comments to yourself.

Thoughts

by Inthefastlane45 @ 09/05/2007 - 00.18:04

I always think of the future, and what I want in my life.

Before I would always want to get a job in a city, live in the suburbs..get married and have children.

But now, I decided that just about none of that is what I really want. I really don't want to live in the suburbs. They seem very boring to me.

And I think the only reason I wanted to get married is because I thought that I should. Where I live, people tend to be pretty religious, and is believed that everyone should get married(usually young too) and have children.

But seeing as I am not religious, I realized thats not how it really has to be, and I can do whatever I feel that I want. And I feel like if I ever do want a child, I will adopt.

The only thing that I really want to do is to travel, and see as much of the world as I can.

Gas prices 'resistance'

by Inthefastlane45 @ 08/05/2007 - 21.32:12

So I read a little chain letter type thing going around about gas prices here in the US(which are roughly around $3.00 a gallon).

As a whole, this letter is kind of a joke, obviously somebody made it without really looking at information, or they were just bored.

First of all..it says they "heard" gas was going to be over $4.00 a gallon. When in reality it was said that gas should NOT reach that, and they should be done going up now. Not that you can always believe the news, but nobody has actually said its giong to get that high.

It goes on to say we shouldn't purchase gas from exxon/mobile. Because they are the biggest company, ect, ect.

And then, it talks about passing on the letter:

"I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us sends it to at least ten more (30 x 10 =3D 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 =3D 3,000)...and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers. If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it..... THREE
>>>>HUNDRED MILLION >>>>PEOPLE!!! "

Three hundred million people? Last time I checked our population is just over 300 million..and not all of them drive. Especially the people under 16 who are not allowed to.

Then it says to not buy from exxon/mobile until their prices hit $1.30(I hope they don't depend on exxon/mobile).

And then of course, it ends out with:

"FAITH IS NOT BELIEVING THAT GOD CAN....
IT IS KNOWING THAT HE WILL"

These things are common now..we hear of them everyday. Nobody ever really changes their ways..they just complain.

But maybe..(just maybe)...if everyone didn't buy their gas guzzling SUV's they wouldn't have to spend so much on gas. People in other countries have to pay twice as much as we do.

Get out of my head!

by Inthefastlane45 @ 08/05/2007 - 02.23:58

I honestly hate it whenever a song gets stuck in my head.

I will usually hear it on the radio, then the game is over..it has already won. I end up singing it all the time, at least once every half hour.

And latly..its been that umbrella song, by rihanna.

Before it was the new avril lavinge song..now that was very bad.

....under my umbrella, ella, ella eh eh eh...

Stop!

by Inthefastlane45 @ 06/05/2007 - 20.40:08

You know, I try to be tolerant of somebody's "bad habit" But, there is just one thing I cannot stand, at all.

Staring!

I can't stand it when people just practically stop whatever they're doing and stare at you going by. It doesn't matter if your walking or driving..they stare you until you're out of sight!

I mean, it's not like I look like a complete freak. And even if I did, so what? It's none of their busniess.

Confederate flag

by Inthefastlane45 @ 04/05/2007 - 20.33:12

Today on my way home I drove by a house and noticed a flag. It turned out to be a confederate flag. I actually couldn't believe it. I live in pennsylvania, and although people where I live are very racist, I never seen anyone support the confederacy. Especially since this state was a 'nortern state'

And you know that he won't have to take it down, he'll just say "its a free country, ect..ect.."

I still think its disgusting that someone would support that, especially over a hundred years from when it exsisted.
